United States — California and other state privacy rights

If you live in the United States, this section summarizes rights that may apply under state consumer privacy statutes and how to exercise them. We operate from New York; processing often occurs in the United States.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): Depending on your relationship with us, you may have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect; to delete, correct, or obtain a copy of personal information we hold; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (including sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, as defined by California law); and to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. Optional marketing cookies, if you turn them on, may allow partners to collect pseudonymous identifiers that can qualify as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising; you can opt out by rejecting optional cookies in our site banner, clearing stored preferences as described in the Cookie Policy, or by contacting us using the methods above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights, except as permitted by law. You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests where California law allows; we may verify your identity and the agent’s authority before acting.

California “Shine the Light” (Civil Code § 1798.83): California residents may ask once per calendar year about certain personal information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not, as part of our ordinary contact handling, share your inquiry details with unaffiliated third parties for their own direct marketing without your direction.

Other U.S. states: Residents of states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws (including, for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, Texas, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, and Minnesota, as and when those laws apply to us) may have rights to access, delete, correct, obtain a portable copy where applicable, opt out of targeted advertising, sales, profiling in certain contexts, or sensitive-data processing, subject to statutory exceptions. Submit a request through the contact methods in Controller and contact and we will respond consistent with applicable timelines and verification rules.

Nevada residents (NRS Chapter 603A): We do not sell covered information as defined there for monetary consideration to data brokers. If our practices change, Nevada residents may submit a verified opt-out request using the contact methods above.

United States — commercial email (CAN-SPAM): Promotional email we send to U.S. recipients will identify the sender, include a valid postal address where required, and provide a clear way to opt out of further marketing messages. Service messages about an inquiry you started may be sent without separate marketing consent.

Canada — PIPEDA and provincial laws

If you are in Canada, we handle your personal information in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), where it applies, and with applicable provincial private-sector privacy statutes (including substantially similar provincial laws in Alberta, British Columbia, and Quebec) when those laws apply instead of or alongside PIPEDA.

We collect, use, and disclose personal information only for identified purposes described in this policy, with consent where required—or as permitted or required by law. We strive to keep information accurate, protect it with appropriate safeguards, and retain it only as long as needed for those purposes or as the law requires. You may request access to your personal information and, subject to exceptions in law, ask us to correct inaccuracies.

If you have concerns we cannot resolve, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) at priv.gc.ca. Provincial privacy regulators may apply depending on your location and our activities.

Quebec residents

If you reside in Quebec, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) may give you additional rights, including transparency, portability in prescribed circumstances, automated decision-making safeguards where applicable, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (CAI). We will honour applicable Quebec requirements for consent, transfers outside Quebec, privacy impact assessments where required, and breach notification when mandated.

Cross-border processing

We are based in the United States. Personal information you submit may be stored or processed in the United States or in other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection rules than your province or country. Where Canadian law requires, we implement appropriate contractual, organizational, and technical measures to protect personal information subject to transfer.

Commercial electronic messages (Canada)

We do not add you to marketing lists solely because you contacted us about a question. If we ever send a commercial electronic message to a Canadian contact (for example, a newsletter or promotional update), we will do so in compliance with Canada’s anti-spam legislation (CASL), including identifying the sender, providing an unsubscribe mechanism where required, and having consent or another applicable exemption.

Purposes and lawful bases

We process personal data to operate phrexxonsquixell.world, respond to inquiries you send through the contact form, maintain website security, comply with law, and—only if you allow optional cookies—to understand aggregated traffic or deliver promotional content tied to marketing cookies.

Lawful bases include consent (optional cookies and certain messages you initiate), contract steps at your request (responding to questions that may lead to an agreement), legitimate interests in securing our site and improving reliability, and legal obligations where applicable.

Categories of data

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process identifiers (name, email address, domain), message content you submit, technical information such as IP address, device type, browser version, timestamps, and cookie identifiers if you enable optional cookies.

We do not request special-category information as part of the contact form. Please avoid sending sensitive personal data unless it is truly necessary; if you do, we will process it only to handle your request and with safeguards proportionate to the risk.

Recipients and processors

We use trusted hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers where enabled. Processors act on our instructions and are expected to meet GDPR-aligned obligations through contracts and technical measures.

International transfers

If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms, plus supplementary measures when required.

Retention

Contact messages are kept for up to twenty-four months after our last meaningful exchange unless a longer period is needed for legal claims, reconciliation, or regulatory requirements. Server logs with security value may be stored for shorter rolling windows. Cookie retention follows the durations described in the Cookie Policy.

Your rights

Canada: Subject to applicable exceptions, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you and request correction where it is inaccurate. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent in accordance with law (withdrawal may limit our ability to respond to certain requests). You may also ask about our accountability practices and how to escalate concerns to regulators as described above.

European Economic Area / UK: If GDPR (or comparable UK rules) applies, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent for optional cookies at any time without affecting lawfulness of earlier processing. You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Security measures

We apply access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), patching practices, and vendor review to reduce risk. No online system is flawless; we respond to incidents according to applicable law.

Children

The site is designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 in the United States in a manner inconsistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and we do not knowingly collect children’s data in violation of other applicable laws. If you believe a minor provided data, contact us and we will delete it where required.

Changes

We update this policy when practices change. The “Last updated” line reflects the latest revision date shown above.
